Can’t believe that this little guy will be one of my first clients to photograph when I come back from my maternity leave and it will be for his ONE YEAR session! Crazy. He get’s cuter each time I see him and I love hanging out with his family. I know this is super late but happy 9 Months Hudson!

I’m a little behind on blogging but telling myself that’s ok since I won’t be shooting for clients for the next month or so during my maternity leave, this way I’ll still have lots of awesome sessions to share with you guys ;). Today I’m sharing Ms. Audrey’s one year session with you. Audrey is my first little one that I’ve been able to follow since her mama was carrying her in her belly. After that we did newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and now her one year portraits. I feel so blessed to have been able to document each one of these milestones during her first year. She is precious and I look forward to seeing her grow into a beautiful little lady after God’s heart. Love you guys, Lewis family!
Oh my goodness how this little one has grown! I was completely in love with his little fuzzy head at our session. We had such a great time + perfect weather for this family’s 8 month session. Happy 8 months Everett! Can’t believe the next time I see you it will be for your 1 year session!!!
I love it when I get to photograph a family before their newborn session. I met the Gandy family early this spring when we did some 2 year portraits for Ms. Lauren. It always makes our newborn session so much more comfortable and relaxed. This session was so sweet and comfortable. I had such a great time watching them interact and spend time with their new baby. It was completely obvious how in love this family is with each other. That always makes my job pretty easy. :) Congrats Gandy family! Your sweet little bundle is so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful + loving family.
Whew! trying to get caught up on some blog post from the past month or so and I wanted to share this sweet baby session tonight. Baby Ellie is 8 months old and she is a completely adorable smiley little princess. I had so much fun with this sweet family again! Enjoy Lezatte family!
I always feel so honored to be hired as a birth photographer. It is such a special and intimate event in a family’s life. This story was no exception. I got to meet this sweet couple a few weeks before their birth at their maternity session and I found out very quickly what a great family they were. I love seeing new dads as they support their wives in labor and Jake was an AWESOME coach as well as their doula Jodi! I think the sweetest thing I remember from this birth was when Mama had a contraction and Dad coached and encouraged her through it. When it had passed he looked at her and said “You are so pretty.” I nearly melted right there. Baby S’s birth really felt like such a blessed event as worship music was playing during the labor and delivery. Mama, you did such an amazing job bringing your sweet boy into this world! Thank you both for allowing me to document it for you.

I loved photographing this sweet new family for their newborn photos. Ms. L is just beautiful! I love to chat with new mamas + dads about their new sweet little ones. It is the best thing ever to see how completely smitten and in love they are. Congratulations Atkins family! Enjoy this sweet time in the life of your family!

I love it when sessions just flow completely naturally. That is exactly what happened at this beautiful family’s 1 year session for their son. We just walked and talked and they played together while I just snapped away. I had so much fun catching up with you guys! Bodie is a blessed little guy to have such a loving mama and daddy. Happy 1st Birthday Bodie!

I love to photograph 6 month olds. It is just such a great time to document how much they’ve changed since their newborn days. They are usually sitting up but not crawling yet so they can’t get away :). My favorite things are that they are full of personality and smiles and always have the best little baby pudginess. This 6 month session was no exception. Ryan was the sweetest little thing and this family made my job so easy. It’s pretty clear how smitten Mama+ Daddy are with this little guy and the feeling is totally mutual! Happy 6 months Ryan!
I can’t believe it’s been 6 months already since I photographed this sweet girls newborn session! She is the happiest, smiliest (is that a word?) baby you have ever seen. Looking forward to seeing her again at one year! Happy 6 months to this little beauty!

I cannot believe that this little guy just turned one! He was actually my very first newborn. I got to photograph his birth, then his newborn session, Christmas pictures and now his 1 year photos. He has the sweetest Momma + Daddy and he is also going to be a big brother in August! I know this little guys has brought so much joy to his family and I am so blessed to have been able to photograph them this year. Looking forward to meeting little sis in the next few months and spending more time with this wonderful family. Happy Birthday Caleb!
A few weeks ago I got to photograph this sweet family. Jodi and I met through Open Heart Doula and I can’t wait to work with her next month at an upcoming birth! This little cutie was a tough nut to crack but we finally got some sweet smiles out of her! :) I had a great time with you guys! Blessings to you Thress Family!
Last week we had beautiful weather to celebrate little Samuel with a one year session. This family is so special to me because I was honored to photograph their birth last year. Fast forward to now and I cannot believe it has been a whole year! Samuel is such a sweet + happy baby and his big sister is so loving with him. I got to meet up with another one of my sweet newborn families recently and photograph their sweet family as they grow. Recently I got to catch back up with one of my birth families for a family shoot. I seriously love this family. They are just so sweet to be around. Their kiddos are wonderful and they are just such a comfortable family to be with. I said this same thing when I shot their birth but it felt just like spending time with friends. It’s easy to see how much they love each other in the pictures and it was so fun to see how much baby S has grown! Great to see you again Williams family!
