3 weeks ago tonight I got to meet back up with one of my sweet little newborn clients and her family to do her 6 month portraits. It was the most beautiful evening. It was in the 80's during our session and it felt like a little bit of summer was still lingering in the air. Tonight I'm bundled up by the fire as I write this blog post since it's 30 outside and a chance of snow tonight. These gorgeous warm summery evenings are drawing to a close for the year and I am just sitting here so thankful for getting to be a part of these sweet little memories we got to photograph of this little one and her mama. Like her chubby little hands, giggles with mama and of course sucking those fingers. Can't wait to see this family again in a few months when it's warm again! Until then, enjoy these sweet images!

I love to photograph newborns. Love it! I love getting to chat with new moms and dads. I love the excitement in their voices as they talk about their new journey into parenthood. Love seeing the way they look at their new little one. Love seeing their new perfect little nursery with all the time and love that went into every detail. This newborn session was no exception. I had the best time getting to know this new little family. I noticed one thing while editing this family's photos...they were smiling so much! You can just see in every photograph that their hearts are bursting with love for this new precious life. Congrats Neal family! Thank you for having me there to document this sweet time for your family.
Seriously, this guy is one of the happiest babies I've ever met. All throughout his session he was giving me these big, wide open mouthed, gummy smiles. I love this stage. And I love seeing new parents with their babies at this age. You're starting to come out of the newborn sleepless fog and you are being constantly rewarded with smiles and giggles. It makes all those sleepless nights worth it. Happy 4 months little guy! Can't wait to see you grow throughout this year!

I recently got to meet up with this sweet family once again to photograph Ms. Harper for her one year pics. It has been so fun getting to watch this beautiful girl grow over this past year. I've been able to photograph her in her mama's tummy, as a newborn, 6 months and now 1 year! Happy Birthday Harper! It has been so fun seeing you and documenting your first year!
Happy 1st Birthday to this sweet little one! It has been such a joy to follow this family this past year over the course of their second baby's 1st year, Ms. Ellie. She is such a sweet + happy little miss. I have been able to photograph her as a newborn, at 4 months, 8 months and now on her 1st birthday! Happy Birthday Ellie!

Happy Birthday to Hudson! I have been so blessed to get to photograph this little guy all throughout his first year and I have loved getting to know his family. He is such a lucky guy to have such a wonderful mama and daddy. Happy Birthday Huddy Buddy!
I love this family because I always feel so comfortable and right at home with them. Mama even texted me before our session to tell me to bring Reid with me if I needed to in case I needed to nurse him. Even though I didn't bring him, I thought that was such a sweet and thoughtful thing to do for a fellow new mama. That's just the kind of family this is and this baby girl is so blessed to be a part of it. Happy 8 Months Caroline! I can't believe the next time I photograph you, you'll be a year old!
Can’t believe that this little guy will be one of my first clients to photograph when I come back from my maternity leave and it will be for his ONE YEAR session! Crazy. He get’s cuter each time I see him and I love hanging out with his family. I know this is super late but happy 9 Months Hudson!
I’m a little behind on blogging but telling myself that’s ok since I won’t be shooting for clients for the next month or so during my maternity leave, this way I’ll still have lots of awesome sessions to share with you guys ;). Today I’m sharing Ms. Audrey’s one year session with you. Audrey is my first little one that I’ve been able to follow since her mama was carrying her in her belly. After that we did newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and now her one year portraits. I feel so blessed to have been able to document each one of these milestones during her first year. She is precious and I look forward to seeing her grow into a beautiful little lady after God’s heart. Love you guys, Lewis family!
Oh my goodness how this little one has grown! I was completely in love with his little fuzzy head at our session. We had such a great time + perfect weather for this family’s 8 month session. Happy 8 months Everett! Can’t believe the next time I see you it will be for your 1 year session!!!
I love getting to spend time with new moms. It is such a sweet and special time when you are learning so much. And I loved getting to know this momma. We got to know each other a bit at their maternity session and these parents were so excited then to meet their little one. It’s not hard to see that they are completely and totally in love with this little guy. Congratulations Casey family! Cooper is a very blessed little guy!
