I love this family so much! They are some of our great friends and it is always a blessing to photograph them. I am so glad I got to photograph them to document their sweet littlest one for 6 months at the pumpkin patch a couple of weeks ago. Love you guys! Styling by Nicole Wise Styling.

I am so excited to announce this year's 3rd annual Christmas Tree Farm mini sessions. These sessions are so much fun and are the perfect way to get the holiday season kicked off. I announced these sessions yesterday to my newsletter subscribers and the first date (October 25th) sold out in 30 minutes. I am so overwhelmed and grateful. I really can't thank you all enough. So, I decided to do a second date but this will be it. 4 sessions are left for this second date so be sure to let me know as soon as possible if you want to snag one. This year, our sessions will be held at Bluebird Christmas Tree Farm in Heiskell. It is a gorgeous farm and I am so excited to do our sessions there this year. I'm looking forward to working with new and returning families this year!

I love getting to know + follow family’s and watch their children grow. I first met baby Ellie when she was just a few days old at her newborn session. You can see that here. Now she’s a smiley + chubby + adorable 4 month old! I look forward to seeing her grow even more this year. Enjoy these sweet photos!
Almost 2 weeks ago, my best friend gave birth to their 3rd precious baby. I was supposed to photograph her birth but things got a little crazy when she had a whirlwind 45 minute labor and ended up delivering at home in their living room(whoops!). Thankfully everyone was perfectly fine and Thomas will forever be an all star Daddy for delivering his daughter! Since they delivered at home without assistance, they ended up going to the hospital to make sure everyone was ok. I am so happy I got to be there to photograph their kids meeting baby Scarlet for the first time. Such sweet moments! I just love you guys and am so thankful for your friendship. I am excited to see the Godly men and women you are raising. Enjoy these sweet memories.
I just started taking an indoor natural lighting workshop this week and this was one of my first assignments, to work with hard light. This was a new challenge for me because I don’t typically shoot in hard light but I love learning new techniques and I loved how this turned out. It’s a pretty moody image because of the dramatic lighting but that’s pretty much what her mood was! Ha! I had just woken her up from her nap and she wasn’t quite ready for the camera in her face yet. :) I’m looking forward to learning and sharing more from my workshop!

I LOVE a Christmas baby! I have one myself and a baby at Christmas time is just such a sweet thing. I remember when I had my Ellie two Decembers ago, it made this time of year so much more special as we celebrated the birth of our baby girl and the birth of our Saviour, Jesus. Last week, I had a great time getting to know and photograph this beautiful family. I felt so comfortable and right at home with them. Caroline is a very blessed little girl to have such a sweet and loving mommy and daddy and extended family. Congratulations Hunt family! I pray this Christmas season will be an especially blessed time for you as you celebrate your precious addition to your family!
Get ready to gush because this little guy is adorable. I got to meet this sweet family last week to document their little guy turning 6 months. We had a great time at Buttermilk Farms Christmas Tree farm. Little Weston was such a happy guy and it was so sweet to see mom and dad loving on him. I just love spending the afternoon with families! I spent a beautiful afternoon with this family last week. It took a while for little man to warm up to me but in the end he was all smiles and even wanted to give me a big ole hug before we left. :) Enjoy your photos! I had a great time with ya'll!
This past weekend I got to step outside of my little box and try something totally new. A while back my clients contacted me about a dancers among us type session and as soon as I googled it, I got really excited! I knew that this session was going to be so fun and it was! I think after this session I'm going to be asking all my clients at some point in their session if they can do a dance move! Ha! "Excuse me, can you do the splits while you hold your newborn?" :) Seriously, it was so fun. Emily was a blast to work with. She's amazingly talented and a beautiful little lady. Oh and PS we had the most gorgeous sunset which was perfect for some silhouettes! I did not enhance that sky at all in editing. It REALLY looked like that. What an amazing backdrop for this beautiful dancer. Ok, I'll be quiet now! Enjoy your photos Kersey family!
This week I got to follow up with this beautiful family after their maternity session (you can see that here) and meet their sweet baby girl. Ms. Nola was an absolute angel and I am so excited for this little family! You can see all over mama + daddy's face just how smitten they are with her. She is a lucky little girl to be surrounded by such love. Congrats Phillips family!
