This family. Oh my goodness. I just love getting to photograph them. Their newborn session is still my absolute favorite. You can see that here. This family's session was easily one of my favorite sessions from this fall. They were so much fun and loving towards one another. Mom and Dad were celebrating 10 years of marriage and wanted to do some photos since it has been a really long time since they've had any done. Well, I am just so glad they chose me to photograph them because I had the best time hanging out with this gorgeous family. Enjoy these sweet photos!
I recently got to photograph this gorgeous couple and it was so much fun. I'm not even joking, they could give lessons on the perfect couple posing because it honestly came so natural to them to just love on each other. It was awesome! They are celebrating their 3rd year of marriage (yay!) and it was so fun chatting with them about this season of life they are in. I have truly loved every season in my marriage, but it is so fun thinking back on those earlier days were we were free to travel whenever we wanted, take off on an adventure at the last minute and just spend as much alone time together as we wanted. It was definitely a time I look back on with so much fondness and being with these two made me so excited for them and the adventures that await them. I am so happy we did these photographs to capture this sweet season in your marriage. Enjoy!
A couple of weeks ago, I got to photograph this beautiful family in the mountains. If you know this family, you love them. They are completely adorable, have huge hearts for the Lord and will keep you cracking up the whole time you are with them. I was so excited that we got to do this styled session with them. This past spring, I was chatting with my super-stylish friend Nicole about how I would love to have styling for my clients. She has the best eye for fashion and always looks fabulous. My clients are always asking about styling and what to wear and although I do my very best to help them, I knew that having someone dedicated to them and their style needs would add an incredible element to their session, as well as make their experience with me even more fun and relaxed. So I asked Nicole if she would be interested in styling my clients, and from there Nicole Wise Styling was born. We wanted to kick off her services by doing a giveaway which we held this past Spring to also celebrate 2 years in business for me.
This sweet family was the recipient of our styled session and they were incredible to work with. It was so much fun throughout the whole process. We wanted this session to be really special and after seeing Nicole's style boards for their session, I knew I wanted to take them to the mountains. Having Nicole style them really helped me with my vision for their session and it took lots of stress off of Amanda from having to put together outfits and accessories for her family. Oh my word. This family is just so precious. I absolutely loved meeting them and photographing them. They were so genuine and their love for each other so evident. Our session was full of snuggles, tickles, giggles and it ended with a Daddy dog pile. What could be better!? Enjoy these photos of this precious family. This Family. Oh, this family. I just absolutely love them. I have had the privilege of photographing them throughout their baby's first year. From Maternity, Newborn, 4 months, 8 Months and now his One year portraits. And I have loved every session with them. They are so easy on me. Not only do I totally enjoy hanging out with them and catching up on life with them, but they are just so crazy in love with each other it makes my job super easy! You guys. I am always honored to photograph another photographer but I was especially excited to photograph Rebekah and her family because she photographed the birth of my last baby and I will cherish those images forever so naturally I wanted to give her something she treasures like I do my birth photographs. I knew going into her session that I was going to love her family. And she just "gets me" and what I love to do most, which is photographing families in a more natural and relaxed way. She told me before her session that she wanted their session to be a glimpse of who they are and how they interact as a family. I think we accomplished that and let me just say that I just love who you guys are as a family! Enjoy! <3

I love getting to meet and photograph new families and this one was one of my absolute favorites from this fall. They were just so much fun and so real at their session. They were just completely relaxed and having fun and being silly with me. One of my favorite parts of there session was that mom brought both the little one's favorite toy to document them with it. I just absolutely love that because to me that's what it's about, freezing these little moments, or quirks, or favorite things, because it just goes by way too fast. This fall I got to do a really fun session with this adorable duo to celebrate their 1 year wedding anniversary. They are both incredibly talented musicians and worship leaders at our church and I had such a great time hanging out with them downtown for the afternoon. Since today is the last day of 2014 I wanted to do a post compiling some of my favorites from client sessions this past year. What an amazing year this has been! I am so thankful to have had 80 sessions this year with 51 individual families. I had originally intended to do a post of each type of session I do but ran out of time so none of my maternity clients are featured here but you can see them here in a post I did on Monday. Thank you all so much for allowing me to come into your homes, get to know you a bit, and capture these beautiful memories for each of you to treasure for a lifetime. I love my job and it's because of you all that I am able to do it. I almost get emotional looking at all these photos because I know that each and every one is a real story of love and family. Thank you again for trusting me with your memories! I know this is LONG but I just couldn't pick a few favorites! Enjoy!

Since the new year is upon us this week I wanted to look back on this past year and compile a few blog posts of some of my favorite images. Tonight I wanted to highlight my expecting mamas. Such a gorgeous time in the life of a woman. I loved every single one of these sessions. These families are always so much fun, brimming with anticipation. I’m looking forward to my 2015 mamas! 
I simply adore photographing expecting mothers. They are just so beautiful. It is such an exciting time in the life of a family and I love to get to document it. We truly love them so much! Recently, they finalized the adoption of their second child, so of course we had to do some official family photos to mark the occasion.
