I love this family. They are really great friends of our family and they are some of the most wonderful (and hilarious) people you will ever know. Lisa is also a super talented photographer as well so this session was so fun because I know myself how hard it can be to get on the other side of the lens. I hope you love your images Sykes family! Get ready to gush because this little guy is adorable. I got to meet this sweet family last week to document their little guy turning 6 months. We had a great time at Buttermilk Farms Christmas Tree farm. Little Weston was such a happy guy and it was so sweet to see mom and dad loving on him. I just love spending the afternoon with families! What a sweet newborn session this was. Mom and dad are completely in love with this sweet baby boy and it shows. I love seeing brand new parents and their newborn baby…so sweet, so patient, so tired already! haha! This is truly such a wonderful time in life. A little while back I got to photograph this awesome family. Their mama, Rachel, is so special to me because she was my birth doula when I delivered Ellie. And let me tell you, she was AWESOME! Earlier this week, I got to meet and photograph this gorgeous family. We had the perfect crisp, clear fall evening. You would not believe how sweet this big brother was with his little brother. They had me melting our whole session. I am serious, those snuggles and kisses were all them. This is a huge share because I just couldn’t choose favorites! A while back I go to photograph this beautiful couple when they were expecting this sweet baby girl and it was for sure one of my favorite maternity sessions ever. A few weeks ago I got to meet the Price family for their family/maternity session. They are such a sweet and loving family! Not long after our session, Mr. Everett decided to make his arrival a little early. He was just the cutest, teeny little guy, with a sweet+sassy big sis. I just love it when I meet and photograph a new family and everything falls just perfectly into place. That happened with this beautiful family. We had a gorgeous fall evening, amazing light and a wonderful family that loves each other so much. Not to mention 3 out of 4 were red heads which I LOVE. I have secretly always wanted to be a red head. ;) It was so effortless to get beautiful images of this family because it is easy to see the way that they feel about one another. I love photographing newborns and their families. Although I always get sweet individual portraits of the new babe (or babes in this case:) ) my style of newborn photography is really focused on the whole family and capturing connections and details of this special time in life. With that being said, I had the opportunity to meet a family last week who just welcomed twin boys into their home! This was my first time photographing twins and I was so excited! They were perfect little angels and big brother was such a ham! Congratulations Cavender family! Enjoy this BUSY and wonderful time in the life of your family!

This family and I have something very special in common...we both have an Ellie and we both affectionately call our girls Ellie Bellie. And what a sweetie she is. This session was the perfect last hoorah for summer. Perfect weather, sun-kissed skin, cut off jean shorts and pony tails. I love fall but I have been savoring these last summery days we've been having here in East Tennessee. I met this wonderful family after stopping by their family farm, Riverview Family Farm several months ago when I was location scouting near our house. It is a beautiful little slice of heaven on lake Loudon. You can hold all kinds of events here like birthday parties, weddings, etc. You should check them out! I had so much fun with this family out on this gorgeous property playing in the sun, dancing and making silly faces. Last weekend I got to photograph Mattie and her friends and family at her 13th birthday party. These girls had so much fun! They had me cracking up all night. Before everyone got there I pulled Mattie and her sister aside for a little photo shoot. Hope you had a blessed birthday Mattie! I am so excited to get to share baby Hudson's newborn photos with you today! I have absolutely loved getting to know this family. We just clicked from the start and being around them is so relaxed and comfortable.
