I have always dreamed of photographing a family in the snow. Snow is so rare and magical here in Tennessee that we can't plan for this type of session and even when it happens we can't garantee that we can make it to one another because of road conditions. But a couple of weeks ago it all worked out and I couldn't be more happy about it. I CANNOT wait to meet this little guy here in the next few weeks and see this sweet pair become a family of 3. Congrats Waring family!
I love it when sessions end with me chatting with my clients for the longest time about how they are about to become a family of 4 and how the Lord is preparing their hearts for this new and exciting adventure. I can't wait to meet this family's new member just any old day now. Soooooo, I figured it was time to blog their spring/maternity/18 month session. I just love you guys and look forward to seeing your family grow!

I'm a little behind on blogging my sessions from this spring but wanted to jump ahead today and share these photos before this beautiful mama has her babe any day now! What an incredible blessing it has been to get to know these two over the past few years. I cannot wait to see them enter into parenthood here in the next few weeks and meet this sweet and already very loved, baby girl!

I am so excited to announce that on Saturday February 27, I am offering a very special mini session event for mamas and their children. This event will be held at The Hive near downtown Knoxville. The Hive is a beautiful indoor urban location that offers floods of natural light and a variety of cozy places for us to shoot you and your little ones cuddled up together. Seriously, it is so gorgeous in there and I am beyond excited to take my clients there!
I know that as a mother I am pretty much always the one taking our family photos and it’s difficult and rare for me to be in the frame with my children. So, that’s why I wanted to take a day out to focus on you mamas and the connections you share with your most precious treasures.
Nicole Wise Styling will also be on location offering hair and makeup services for $40. Please contact her at nicolemwise@me.com to book your appointment. Nicole will also be offering mini wardrobe styling packages for $50. Please contact her for more details.
The Details.... Sessions are $250+tax and payment is due in full to reserve your spot and is non-refundable. Sessions will last 25 minutes and will include 15 full resolution digital files delivered via download as well as an online gallery for professional print and product ordering. These sessions are suitable for all ages (including adults with your mothers, or expecting mothers) but are limited to one family per session with a maximum of 5 people.

I was so excited when Lauren emailed me a few months back to let me know that they were expecting their second baby and they wanted to do maternity photos with me again. This family is seriously gorgeous but the best part about them is that they are so genuine and fun to hang out with! I can't wait to meet their new precious bundle next month!
This Family. Oh, this family. I just absolutely love them. I have had the privilege of photographing them throughout their baby's first year. From Maternity, Newborn, 4 months, 8 Months and now his One year portraits. And I have loved every session with them. They are so easy on me. Not only do I totally enjoy hanging out with them and catching up on life with them, but they are just so crazy in love with each other it makes my job super easy! You guys. Since the new year is upon us this week I wanted to look back on this past year and compile a few blog posts of some of my favorite images. Tonight I wanted to highlight my expecting mamas. Such a gorgeous time in the life of a woman. I loved every single one of these sessions. These families are always so much fun, brimming with anticipation. I’m looking forward to my 2015 mamas! 
I simply adore photographing expecting mothers. They are just so beautiful. It is such an exciting time in the life of a family and I love to get to document it. This couple was so great to work with. We had a gorgeous evening with the most beautiful light. Thank goodness because they came such a long way to have me do their photographs. I am so excited to share with you tonight, this beautiful maternity session. I met this sweet family recently and am so excited to get to photograph them during this time in their lives. Looking forward to setting them again in June when they welcome their little one into the world.

I am loving meeting and photographing all these sweet new expecting families this Spring! I recently got to meet this couple expecting their first child here in just a few weeks. Last week I got to meet and photograph this beautiful couple as they await the arrival of their daughter. Last week I got to photograph this beautiful family for some 2 year portraits for big sister as well as some family and maternity shots of mama. Big sis was such a doll! This was my first session that felt like Spring is just around the corner. FINALLY!!! I can’t wait to see this family again in a few weeks when they welcome in their second little one.
