What a sweet newborn session this was. Mom and dad are completely in love with this sweet baby boy and it shows. I love seeing brand new parents and their newborn baby…so sweet, so patient, so tired already! haha! This is truly such a wonderful time in life. A little while back I got to photograph this awesome family. Their mama, Rachel, is so special to me because she was my birth doula when I delivered Ellie. And let me tell you, she was AWESOME! Earlier this week, I got to meet and photograph this gorgeous family. We had the perfect crisp, clear fall evening. You would not believe how sweet this big brother was with his little brother. They had me melting our whole session. I am serious, those snuggles and kisses were all them. This is a huge share because I just couldn’t choose favorites! I had a great time with you guys and I hope you love these keepsakes of your beautiful family! 
A while back I go to photograph this beautiful couple when they were expecting this sweet baby girl and it was for sure one of my favorite maternity sessions ever. Last week I got to photograph this beautiful family at Buttermilk Farms Christmas tree farm for a family maternity session. This mama is gorgeous! And Oh my, cutie pie Finn. He’s gonna be such a fun big brother! I am so excited to get to meet their baby girl here in just a few weeks. A few weeks ago I got to meet the Price family for their family/maternity session. They are such a sweet and loving family! Not long after our session, Mr. Everett decided to make his arrival a little early. He was just the cutest, teeny little guy, with a sweet+sassy big sis. I just love it when I meet and photograph a new family and everything falls just perfectly into place. That happened with this beautiful family. We had a gorgeous fall evening, amazing light and a wonderful family that loves each other so much. Not to mention 3 out of 4 were red heads which I LOVE. I have secretly always wanted to be a red head. ;) It was so effortless to get beautiful images of this family because it is easy to see the way that they feel about one another. I spent a beautiful afternoon with this family last week. It took a while for little man to warm up to me but in the end he was all smiles and even wanted to give me a big ole hug before we left. :) Enjoy your photos! I had a great time with ya'll!
This past weekend I got to step outside of my little box and try something totally new. A while back my clients contacted me about a dancers among us type session and as soon as I googled it, I got really excited! I knew that this session was going to be so fun and it was! I think after this session I'm going to be asking all my clients at some point in their session if they can do a dance move! Ha! "Excuse me, can you do the splits while you hold your newborn?" :) Seriously, it was so fun. Emily was a blast to work with. She's amazingly talented and a beautiful little lady. Oh and PS we had the most gorgeous sunset which was perfect for some silhouettes! I did not enhance that sky at all in editing. It REALLY looked like that. What an amazing backdrop for this beautiful dancer. Ok, I'll be quiet now! Enjoy your photos Kersey family!
This week I got to follow up with this beautiful family after their maternity session (you can see that here) and meet their sweet baby girl. Ms. Nola was an absolute angel and I am so excited for this little family! You can see all over mama + daddy's face just how smitten they are with her. She is a lucky little girl to be surrounded by such love. Congrats Phillips family!
Last weekend I got to go downtown and do a senior session with Zac. I had a great time getting to know him a little better and am so excited for him to embark on this fun + exciting time in life. Congrats Zac! We are praying for God's blessings and leading in your life. Have a great senior year!

I love photographing newborns and their families. Although I always get sweet individual portraits of the new babe (or babes in this case:) ) my style of newborn photography is really focused on the whole family and capturing connections and details of this special time in life. With that being said, I had the opportunity to meet a family last week who just welcomed twin boys into their home! This was my first time photographing twins and I was so excited! They were perfect little angels and big brother was such a ham! Congratulations Cavender family! Enjoy this BUSY and wonderful time in the life of your family!

This family and I have something very special in common...we both have an Ellie and we both affectionately call our girls Ellie Bellie. And what a sweetie she is. She is perfectly snuggly and has the best full head of hair. She also has a very sweet and fun big sister who is going to show her the ropes! Congratulations Lezatte family!
This session was the perfect last hoorah for summer. Perfect weather, sun-kissed skin, cut off jean shorts and pony tails. I love fall but I have been savoring these last summery days we've been having here in East Tennessee. I met this wonderful family after stopping by their family farm, Riverview Family Farm several months ago when I was location scouting near our house. It is a beautiful little slice of heaven on lake Loudon. You can hold all kinds of events here like birthday parties, weddings, etc. You should check them out! I had so much fun with this family out on this gorgeous property playing in the sun, dancing and making silly faces. Thank you Samulski family for letting me come and hang out with you guys for a while. I hope you will treasure these images of your beautiful family. Enjoy!
